Equifax Joins Juniper Networks' Technology Alliance Program

(NYSE: EFX) today announced that Juniper Networks has certified its Anakam Identity Services solutions for strong authentication on Juniper VPNs and that it has become part of Juniper's Technology Alliance Program. Anakam software solutions give companies and government agencies the power to configure authentication policy based on level of risk, individual business unit use cases, and compliance requirements.

Two-factor authentication drastically reduces the incidence of online identity theft and other online fraud, often replacing passwords only to provide users with secure access to information.  The critical need for added security is reflected in numerous standards, including OMB and HIPAA requirements, which mandate multi-factor authentication to protect security and privacy.  Despite these benefits, implementations of multi-factor authentication solutions often encounter resistance from end users who struggle with the time and complexity these processes require.
