ATLANTA, Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Equifax^® (NYSE: EFX) is providing mortgage lenders and brokers with greater flexibility and cost efficiency during loan origination, and helping them to prepare for the acceptance of new credit scores, with the release of Equifax Mortgage Score Select™. This new offering enables the mortgage industry to pull an Equifax mortgage credit file without a credit score or with the credit score they select for their mortgage banking needs, whether that score is VantageScore® 4.0, Classic FICO^®, or FICO^® Score 10T when it is approved. If the lender or broker wants a second look at the mortgage credit file after the initial pull, they are able to pull the Equifax mortgage credit file again within 24 hours for just $1, along with the cost of their selected mortgage credit score or without a mortgage credit score.
