Equinox Unveils Alluring New Bryant Park Club

NEW YORK, June 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- New Yorkers will be able to indulge in Equinox's impeccable service as Equinox, the upscale fitness and high performance lifestyle leader, opens its newest location in Bryant Park this spring.  The club will be conveniently located at 125 West 41st, within close proximity to Bryant Park, connecting midtown and Times Square.

"A gracious central stair and glass cube define the entry and act as a lantern for the surrounding neighborhood," says Aaron Richter, VP of Design.  The experience is governed by the idea of creating a dramatic theatrical experience, which is a nod to the vibrant NYC district.  A series of mezzanines and a cascading stair overlook the grand space surrounded by state of the art studios.  The palette consists of raw materials such as concrete and hot rolled metal that are juxtaposed against carved stone, warm walnut woods and bronze details.  The overall focus of the design is inward and does not shy from voyeurism."

Inside Equinox Bryant Park's four fitness studios, the industry's internationally acclaimed instructors will lead a full range of yoga, cycling, Pilates and innovative group fitness classes, including signature classes such as Barre Burn, METCON3, Shockwave, ViPR, and Tabata. Equinox's cardio and strength training areas unite free weights and state of the art cardio machines to create an inspirational setting where members can workout on their own, or with one of Equinox's highly skilled personal trainers.
