RICHMOND, Va., Dec. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Equity Concepts, an industry-leading financial services firm, celebrates another successful year of growth by growing assets, expanding its team and upgrading the firm's technology.

Equity Concepts experienced solid growth in new assets under advisement in 2015 of approximately $75 million, bringing the total to $775 million. In addition to asset growth, the firm expanded its team this year by adding John Hopper as the new Director of Strategic Growth. Hopper added over 25 years of experience in private banking and wealth management to the team. He has already launched efforts to grow and expand Equity Concepts' services to the broader market, as well as determining and implementing internal growth strategies.

In 2015, Equity Concepts also focused on optimizing the firm's technology infrastructure and overall client experience. With the addition of programs such as Riskalyze, software that quantifies an investor's risk exposure, the firm is taking client education, communication and advice to a new level.
