Eric Savitz Joins Brunswick as Partner

SAN FRANCISCO, March 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Brunswick Group LLC,  a leading corporate communications consultancy, announced today that Eric Savitz has joined the firm as a Partner based in the San Francisco office. Mr. Savitz comes to Brunswick after a 29-year career in journalism, most recently at Forbes, where he served as San Francisco Bureau Chief, covering technology, investing and Silicon Valley.  

Prior to Forbes, Mr. Savitz held senior writing and editing positions at Barron's during a 19-year relationship with the publication both in New York and the Bay Area. He was also a contributing writer for Smart Money and was an executive editor of The Industry Standard, where he chronicled the Internet Economy and the intersection of finance and technology. He also launched the first blog on Barrons.com, "Tech Trader Daily," to cover technology investing, and later the "Tech Trade" blog at Forbes, a blog on tech investing that generates more than a million page views per month.
