Eric Weisberg Named First Jury Chair for MMA's 'The Smarties™' Awards

NEW YORK, July 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the MMA (Mobile Marketing Association) announced that JWT Executive Creative Director Eric Weisberg, who led the team that developed the Johnson & Johnson BAND-AID® Magic Vision augmented reality application that won a Gold Lion at the 2012 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, will serve as the first ever Jury Chair for 'The Smarties™' Awards 2012 – the only global awards program dedicated exclusively to mobile marketing. The MMA added The Smarties jury chair role to reflect the broadened scope of the awards for 2012, which includes several new categories. Weisberg will lead an all-star judging panel that includes mobile execs from Adidas, Coca-Cola and General Mills.

The Smarties winners will be announced and celebrated at MMA's The Smarties Annual Global Awards Gala, which will cap off the inaugural two-day Mobile Marketing Conference and Expo in New York City during Advertising Week.
