ERP Maestro Founder and CEO, Jody Paterson, Joins Panel Discussion on Automation Technology at ITPalooza
The panel of South FL technology leaders to discuss the risks, rewards and impact of automation on business
PLANTATION, Fla., Dec. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- ERP Maestro, provider of automated and cloud-based controls for access, security and GRC, announced today that its founder and CEO, Jody Paterson, will participate in a panel on automation strategies at ITPalooza, an annual event that brings together the entire South Florida IT community. The panel discussion will take place on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 4 p.m. at the Greater Ft. Lauderdale-Broward County Convention Center.
The session will focus on how organizations are leveraging automation to do more with less and the related risks, rewards and strategies. Other panelists include Robert Valdez, manager of cybersecurity and compliance services at Kaufman Rossin; Albert Santalo, founder and CEO of 8base; and Armando Lambert, vice president, enterprise optimization, governance and risk at Bayview Asset Management.
In the wake of massive data breaches, including the recent Marriott Starwood breach that affected 500 million customers, the discussion on automation could not be timelier. In a 2018 report from McAfee surveying 950 cybersecurity managers, 81 percent said that their organization's cybersecurity would be safer if it implemented greater automation. It also reports that the use of automation is still relatively low for key cybersecurity tasks, such as correcting and remediating threats (33 percent).
