Erthos to Showcase Milestone 52 MWac 'Bravo' Solar Project with Exclusive Tour During Houston Energy & Climate Week 2026

Climate tech pioneer offers energy leaders hands-on, in-field access to utility-scale Earth Mount Solar technology

BAY CITY, Texas, Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Erthos, Inc., the creator of Earth Mount Solar, today announced its role as a premier sponsor of Houston Energy & Climate Week (HECW) 2026, running September 13–18. Erthos will provide the regional climate tech community and global energy leaders with direct, hands-on access to operating utility-scale technology through an exclusive site tour of its milestone 52-megawatt (MWac) Project Bravo in Matagorda County, Texas.

The centerpiece of Erthos's participation is the Tech Tours South Edition - a Project Bravo Site Visit on Tuesday, September 15. In partnership with HECW, the site tour offers a firsthand look at Erthos's Earth Mount Solar platform, deployed at utility scale near Bay City, Texas. Project Bravo is scheduled for commercial operation in November 2026.

By installing Earth Mount Solar panels flat, directly on the earth, the project eliminates traditional steel mounting structures and single-axis trackers. This innovative architecture cuts standard build times roughly in half and provides extreme physical durability on the hurricane-prone Gulf Coast.

Project Bravo reaches the market with every critical-path development item executed: site control, interconnection, permitting, offtake, financing, and procurement. Once operational, Project Bravo will deliver 124 GWh of annual P50 energy under a 20-year Private Use Network (PUN) power purchase agreement with Equistar Chemicals, LP, a LyondellBasell company, serving the adjacent Matagorda polymers complex. The project represents a de-risked, highly replicable behind-the-meter industrial solar blueprint.
