Dallas entrepreneurs Kelleyton J. Wilson Sr. and Myranna Wilson will lead the statewide rollout, with the first Dallas location set to open midyear 2027
DALLAS, Oct. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Ervexia Occupational Health, a franchise brand that handles the required health testing employers need to put workers on the job, is expanding into Texas with plans for 60 locations over the next 10 years. Dallas entrepreneurs Kelleyton J. Wilson Sr. and Myranna Wilson will invest nearly $1 million to lead the statewide rollout as area representatives.
Growth starts in seven North Texas counties: Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton, Kaufman, Rockwall and Ellis. The first clinic, which will double as the Texas training center, is targeted to open mid-2027. Full buildout of the territory is expected to create more than 300 jobs in Texas.
Ervexia clinics offer a full range of occupational health services, including DOT physicals, drug and alcohol testing, hearing tests and fit-for-duty exams, in the clinic or at the job site. That makes Ervexia a one-stop shop for employers. Employers or employees pay at the time of service instead of billing insurance.
"These are mandated services. You can't run a job site, a trucking fleet or an airport in Texas without many of these services, and right now most employers piece them together from several different providers," Kelleyton Wilson said. "Texas is the hottest market in the country, and no one else offers all of it under one roof and then brings it to the job site. For us, this is about changing lives while providing exceptional service to an underserved market and creating jobs across Texas. We want to use Ervexia Texas to create opportunities for people who have faced barriers to entry in franchising."
Texas added 159,400 jobs in the year through August, according to the Texas Workforce Commission. It also led the nation with 557 workplace deaths in 2024, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
As area representatives, the Wilsons will vet and support all Ervexia franchisees in Texas. Kelleyton Wilson, president of Emeritus Advisers, is a retired Microsoft capital markets executive who co-owns several UPS Store franchises in North Texas. He is a partner in Assembly House restaurant and Assembly House Wine Company and a development partner in Gateway Park, a $120 million project anchored by Tom Thumb. He is a third-term Sunnyvale school board trustee and received the 2025 Outstanding Service Alumni Award from the University of North Texas. Myranna Wilson has spent more than 20 years in North Texas health care, most recently at Medtronic.
"I've spent my career in health care, from radiology to medical device sales, and I've seen what insurance has done to independent practices. Claims get denied or never get paid," Myranna Wilson said. "Ervexia lets a practice serve local employers directly. For a chiropractor or physician who already has the space and the staff, that's a new line of business that doesn't depend on a claim getting approved."
Matt Hale, president of franchising, was part of the co-founding management team of The Joint Chiropractic, which grew to more than 1,000 locations. Dr. Dallas Humble is co-founder and president of operations. Dr. Paul V. Birinyi, a Richardson native and board-certified neurosurgeon licensed in Texas, serves as chief medical officer, and Dr. Don Maple is director of clinical services.
Texas is Ervexia's largest market to date. The company has Area Representative agreements covering 103 planned clinics in Texas, Ohio, Louisiana, Kansas and Arkansas. It has awarded eight franchise licenses in five states, and four clinics are open in Louisiana, Ohio and Arkansas.
"Texas is a 60-location commitment across the entire state, and the opportunity goes well beyond the big four metros," said Dr. Dallas Humble, president of operations for Ervexia Occupational Health. "We proved in northeast Louisiana that smaller markets need these services just as much as big cities. The data centers and manufacturing plants going up across Texas need to line up an occupational health provider before they can break ground, and we want to be the one they call. Kelleyton and Myranna are the right people to build that statewide."
Franchises are open to physicians, chiropractors and entrepreneurs, and no clinical background is required. Prospective Texas franchisees can learn more at tophealthcarefranchise.com/texas.
