Esaote International NV and Pie Medical Imaging Acquire 3mensio to Expand its Leading Role in Healthcare Information Technology

MAASTRICHT, Netherlands and BILTHOVEN, Netherlands, April 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Esaote International NV and 3mensio Medical Imaging BV (3mensio) have entered into an agreement pursuant to which Esaote acquires 3mensio in order to expand its leading role in healthcare information technology. Following this acquisition, today Pie Medical Imaging BV (PMI), a group company of the Esaote group, and 3mensio have announced that they have joined their business activities.
