eSoft Receives Investment to Expand Marketing and Channel Programs

BROOMFIELD, Colo., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- eSoft today announced it has received an investment of an undisclosed amount to reach a broader market with its award-winning Unified Threat Management (UTM) appliances. The company will use the investment for channel programs, marketing and promotions, and product development and engineering. eSoft has also appointed Mike Donnell as its chief executive officer.

With 20 years of experience leading public and private companies to record growth and profitability, Donnell's successes include sustaining more than 50% revenue growth at three of the companies he led, and leading two companies that had been unprofitable for more than 10 years to profitability within three months. He has held president and CEO positions with Sutus, New Global Telecom, Zi Corporation, and Cellular One (CMT Partners). Donnell led Cellular One, as CEO, to industry record levels of combined growth and profitability.
