Eugene Plastic Surgeon Re-Elected to Board of Directors of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Dr. Kiya Movassaghi begins his second term as Member at Large.
EUGENE, Ore., June 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Kiya Movassaghi, Eugene, Oregon board certified plastic surgeon and director of Movassaghi Plastic Surgery & Ziba Medical Spa, was recently re-elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).

One of the most prestigious organizations in aesthetic medicine, ASAPS includes 2,600 member surgeons who have met rigorous ASAPS requirements: certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery or international equivalent, demonstrated excellence in surgical skill, safety, and ethical practice, and extensive training in cosmetic surgery and non-surgical procedures. Historically, only 25% of board certified plastic surgeons in North America have qualified for ASAPS membership.
As Member at Large, Dr. Movassaghi plays a prominent part in steering ASAPS goals and actions for advocating patient education, professional development, and surgical research and innovation. He comments:
