Board certified Eugene plastic surgeon announces the practice's new nonsurgical fat reduction technique

Also known as CoolSculpting®, this technique has been rapidly gaining in popularity as a nonsurgical fat reduction technique.
The CoolSculpting technology works by "freezing" fat cells to the specific temperature where they break down and are then naturally eliminated by the body. Once the fat cells die, they will not return, and so patients who maintain a healthy weight can enjoy long-lasting results.
Dr. Movassaghi is pleased to augment this technology with the addition of the CoolSmooth Pro applicator. The original CoolSculpting system is primarily effective on larger areas of "pinchable" fat due to the design of the applicator. CoolSmooth Pro is a smaller, handheld applicator that allows for treatment of a wider range of areas, particularly the outer thighs.
