Euro 2012 Draw: The Experts say Spain is not the Team to Beat Next Summer - but Germany is!

Germany is the favourite to win Euro 2012, according to Marcel Desailly. Ahead of the finals draw this Friday, online bookmaker Betclic gathered six of their top experts and ambassadors, also including Ruud Gullit and Arrigo Sacchi, and the poll shows that Spain is not the team to beat next summer.

The football world will focus on Kiev on Friday evening when the finals draw for the big tournament in Poland and Ukraine will be held. With 16 teams in the draw, the question is who will come out victorious?

Online bookmaker Betclic https://en.betclic.com gathered six of their top ambassadors in London recently. In total they have 382 caps, two World Cups, two European Championships and six Champions League/European Cup trophies between them, so they know exactly what they are talking about!

The exclusive Betclic poll is below and as you can see, three of the experts are backing Germany to win, namely Marcel Desailly, Joao Pinto, and Pontus Kamark.

German 1990 World Champion Thomas Berthold and Italian master-coach Arrigo Sacchi both back reigning champions Spain, while Dutch legend Ruud Gullit backs his native Netherlands, who were World Cup finalists last year.
