European first recipient of new BA designation, announces International Institute of Business Analysis
TORONTO, July 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) is pleased to announce that it has awarded the first Certification of Competency in Business Analysis™ (CCBA™) designation to Mr. Michel Sauty, a business analyst from Villars-sous-Yens near Geneva, Switzerland.
The CCBA™ certification was introduced this year in response to industry demands for a designation that could be obtained earlier in a practitioner's career. The certification program has been designed to be in compliance with the ISO 17024 standard for certifying the competence of personnel. Since last November, over 175 individuals in more than 20 countries have been approved to sit for the CCBA™ exam. Details on how to obtain the new designation can be reviewed at www.IIBA.org.
Michael Gladstone, CBAP, Executive Vice President, says, "We congratulate Michel Sauty on being the first recipient of this new BA designation." He adds, "We expect the CCBA™ designation to become the industry standard for business analysts."
International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) is the independent non-profit professional association serving the growing field of business analysis to the international business community. The organization has over 20,000 members in 60 countries. www.IIBA.org.
