EVA Expands to Chicago, Its 8th Gateway in North America

New nonstop flights connect to one-stop service throughout Asia 

CHICAGO, Nov. 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- EVA Air launched Chicago flights on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, expanding services in North America and adding greater flexibility and ease to itineraries by offering one-stop connections to major cities throughout Asia and 27 destinations in Mainland China. To start, the 5-Star Airline is operating four nonstop flights a week with its latest-model, Wi-Fi equipped Boeing 777-300ERs comfortably configured for 333 passengers in Royal Laurel business, Elite premium economy and Economy Classes. Chicago is EVA's eighth gateway in North America, joining Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver on the airline's trans-Pacific schedule. The new Chicago flights create 132 itinerary possibilities with the airline's onward connections from Taipei, Taiwan. EVA flight BR55 leaves Chicago's O'Hare International Airport at 12:20 am on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday and lands at Taipei's Taoyuan International Airport at 5:00 am the next day. North America-bound flight BR56 departs Taoyuan at 8:05 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and arrives in Chicago at 8:55 pm the same day.
