Eventide Communications Introduces Live View for Real-Time Emergency Communications Oversight
New Critical Insights AI feature gives supervisors and telecommunicators a unified view of communications, workload, incident activity and alerts
LITTLE FERRY, N.J., Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Eventide Communications announced Live View, a new real-time operational awareness feature within its Critical Insights AI platform. Live View brings telephone and radio communications, computer-aided dispatch (CAD) information, maps, quality assurance (QA) data, workload indicators and activity alerts into a single interface. The feature helps emergency communications supervisors, call takers and dispatchers identify developing situations, recognize potential errors and determine when personnel may need additional support.
Emergency communications centers face staffing shortages, employee turnover and burnout. Supervisors also rely on information spread across multiple systems, making it difficult to maintain a complete picture of operations during an active shift. Live View brings communications activity, workload indicators, stress exposure information and QA insights together, reducing the need to switch between screens to monitor operations and support personnel.
Live View gives supervisors the ability to:
- Monitor active positions, current calls, workload and stress exposure indicators through a configurable operational view.
- Review QA scores while calls are underway to identify opportunities for timely, specific coaching.
- Receive notifications through Live View, email or text message when incidents escalate or personnel experience sustained periods of stress.
Live View gives call takers the ability to:
- Follow live transcripts and replay audio from earlier points in a call.
- View real-time translations alongside transcripts in the original language.
- Receive alerts when spoken information does not match information entered into CAD.
Live View also supports Eventide's focus on telecommunicator wellness by giving supervisors greater visibility into potentially stressful interactions. Supervisors can identify periods of sustained workload or repeated exposure to difficult calls and determine when additional personnel support may be needed.
"A supervisor shouldn't find out about a bad call or an overloaded position after the shift ends," said Matthew Schwartz, managing director of Eventide Communications. "Live View shows them while it's happening, so they can step in and support the person in the moment."
Live View is included in the Critical Insights AI subscription for existing customers and can be easily deployed alongside third-party recording solutions.
