Events.com Unveils New Features for Organizers and Attendees

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Events.com, a leading global event management platform, today announced it has introduced several new features to the existing Events.com platform. The new features are designed to give event organizers and attendees even greater flexibility with managing their events and purchases.

New Features:

• Payment Installments: Event participants now have more options in how they pay for their registration or ticket. Organizers turn on or off this feature and give attendees the option to pay their order in full or split it into installments. The organizer can set a date for the final payment to be automatically charged and optionally add a payment installment fee. In addition, attendees can update their credit card before the final payment is made. Augmented reporting capabilities give organizers the ability to track installments.
• Improved Giving Tools: Organizers can further customize fundraising and donation tools. They can add messaging to better communicate to attendees the "what" and "why" behind their fundraising efforts in order to drive donations and encourage participant fundraising.
• Attendee Number Tool: Organizers can assign specific numbers to attendees. This functionality works for events of any kind––bib numbers for endurance races, seat numbers for shows/performances, attendee numbers for conferences, etc. Should an attendee cancel, their assigned number will be put back into rotation and re-assigned.
