As a special bonus, CUBA BEAT is expanding the series and presenting the launch of PUERTO RICO BEAT on October 10th with a Tribute to Hector Lavoe featuring the legendary Willie Colon alongside Domingo Quinones and Isidro Infante and his Orchestra.

"My passion for music was the reason I created the CUBA BEAT concert series a year ago, and I could not have been more pleased with the reception from the audiences during our first season," said Nelson Albareda, GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY®-winning producer, and president of Eventus. "I am proud of the way our community has embraced this unique series and, together with the Arsht Center, I look forward to making CUBA BEAT, as well as the newly-created  PUERTO RICO BEAT, experiences that will last a lifetime and year-round cultural events," added Albareda.

The series, which will be performed in the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall, will be presented on Saturday evenings at 8 PM.

CUBA BEAT will also feature an educational component which will connect high school music students with the featured artists in an experience that will highlight the different music styles that comprise this rich musical heritage.
