Evercore's Private Funds Group Adds Lee in Hong Kong

Evercore (NYSE: EVR) announced today that its Private Funds Group has made a new hire in its Hong Kong office, further expanding the team's presence in the Asia Pacific region. 

Mr. Yong Seok (Andy) Lee joins Evercore's Private Funds Group, where he will cover limited partners and general partners in the Asia Pacific region, with a primary focus on Korea. This new addition further strengthens the team's distribution capability in Asia, building on its established global distribution footprint.

Mr. Lee joins the firm from UK based placement agent Campbell Lutyens, where he was a founding member of their Hong Kong office. He spent five years at Campbell Lutyens Asia Pacific, where he was responsible for coverage of the Korean market, on private equity, private debt and infrastructure investments. Mr. Lee has over 15 years of experience in financial markets, working across Seoul, Hong Kong and New York. Prior to commencing his career in finance, Mr. Lee was a Strategic Advisor to the United Nations Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea, based in New York City. Mr. Lee graduated from New York University with a Master's Degree in Public Finance.
