RAMAT GAN, Israel, August 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Atlas Cartographic Technologies, a leading developer in the GIS market, announced an official release date of September 24th for their newest product, EverNav. EverNav is an innovative voice-guided turn-by-turn HTML5 navigation tool. It was launched in closed beta in July and will be open to the public in a few weeks.
EverNav is powered by HTML5 technology and therefore can be very easily integrated into every mobile website or app with just one simple line of code, presenting a level of cross-platform compatibility that is unprecedented in the turn-by-turn navigation market. Every HTML5 compatible device is supported by a mobile browser, without the need for pre-installing any application.
"Since the beginning of the beta process, we've been getting great response from the developers that are using the software. I believe that the simplicity of integration and the fact that there's no need to use external apps is very appealing to the developers," says Ido Peled, AtlasCT's R&D director.
Not only is EverNav free for both app developers and business owners, but it can also be used to generate revenue from ads that are presented on the maps during navigation.
According to Ziv Avni, AtlasCT's marketing and sales director, "Our strategy is to provide simple and effective navigation solutions that generate value for the user. EverNav complements our previous product release, BranchMaps.com. While BranchMaps.com creates a mobile app for the promotion of small and medium business, EverNav will complete the process by guiding the customers to your doorstep turn by turn."
The recent Integration of EverNav with BranchMaps.com marks the first step in the BranchMaps.com enhancement process. During the next few weeks, many features regarding content management and effective distribution will be added to the service.
