Every Black Life Matters Launches, The Clarity Project, A Nationwide Compliance Initiative to Help Schools and Colleges Navigate Federal Funding Challenges

DALLAS, May 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- In response to the Trump Administration's recent efforts to reassess federal funding for higher education, Every Black Life Matters (EBLM) is proud to announce the development of a bold, solutions-based initiative to help K–12 institutions and colleges nationwide meet new federal compliance standards.

With approximately $15 billion in education funding now halted or under review due to concerns related to Title VI violations, antisemitism, and divisive DEI- or CRT-infused policies, schools across the country are facing unprecedented scrutiny. The U.S. Department of Education, under Secretary McMahon, has signaled a sharp policy shift: federal grants will increasingly be awarded only to institutions that fully comply with updated legal and constitutional requirements, free from discriminatory or ideologically biased frameworks.

In light of this, EBLM co-founders Dr. Kevin McGary, PhD and Neil Mammen—both nationally recognized authors and speakers on Critical Race Theory (CRT), Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), and race-related educational policy—are unveiling a comprehensive program to help institutions assess and realign their internal practices.

• A Preemptive Certification of Compliance: A formal evaluation that certifies an institution's alignment with federal funding requirements, providing assurance to stakeholders and increasing eligibility for upcoming grant cycles.

The urgency is real. According to sources within the Department of Education, upcoming grant opportunities could unlock historic levels of federal support, but only for those institutions that show measurable adherence to new guidelines. This means academic programs, hiring practices, and even student life policies that promote race-based outcomes, identity politics, or ideological litmus tests may now put schools at financial and legal risk.
