Everyday Health, Inc. and Litton Entertainment Announce New Television Series, "Everyday Health," to Premiere on ABC Affiliates

NEW YORK, July 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Everyday Health, Inc., a leading publisher of health information, today announced its partnership with Litton Entertainment, the preeminent Entertainment/Informational independent television distributor, to produce a television series derived from the popular health brand. "Everyday Health" will join Litton's Weekend Adventure to air Saturday mornings in most markets following "Good Morning America." It will air on 95% of the country's ABC Affiliates, including the ABC owned stations, beginning Saturday, September 3, 2011.

Through captivating storytelling, "Everyday Health" will showcase extraordinary-ordinary Americans who are facing or have overcome health issues, and are paying it forward.  Educating and inspiring others to do the same, the show will produce all original content and integrate Everyday Health's portfolio of experts, online tools and mobile applications.  

Mark Koops, the creator and executive producer of the hit television series "The Biggest Loser," is the executive producer of the forthcoming "Everyday Health" TV series.  Everyday Health co-founders, Ben Wolin, CEO, and Mike Keriakos, President, are co-producing.  Keriakos explained, "This show will celebrate health-related philanthropy, demonstrating how one person can make a world of a difference in someone else's life."

"Everyday Health" will join Emmy-Award winning hosts Jack Hanna in "Jack Hanna's Wild Countdown," and Emmy-Award winning host Jeff Corwin, host of "Ocean Mysteries," among other E/I programs in the three-hour Litton's Weekend Adventure programming block serving the educational needs of American families.
