Evite Names Yun Woo as Head of Product

LOS ANGELES, March 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Evite, the world's leading platform for bringing people together, announced the appointment of Yun Woo as the company's Head of Product. In this role, Woo will oversee the development and continued growth of the company's rapidly expanding product portfolio. He will be based in Los Angeles and report to CEO Victor Cho.

Woo brings nearly 20 years of experience conceiving, designing and launching mobile apps and websites for the largest brands. Prior to Evite, Yun worked as Head of Product at Whalerock Industries, where he led the product team that developed and launched the extremely successful Kardashian/Jenner family native apps and sites across iOS and Android. He also has deep experience in monetization models, having worked with both advertising and subscription models at large scale.

These apps were ranked six out of the top 20 most downloaded Entertainment Apps, reaching tens of millions of downloads and subscribers. Woo was a part of the first team to integrate live streaming within a personalized mobile app experience, allowing celebrities to communicate directly with their fans.
