EVO Payments International Names Darren Wilson as President - International

NEW YORK, April 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- EVO Payments international (EVO), a leading card payment acquirer and payment service provider operating in the United States, Canada and Europe, announced today that Darren Wilson has been appointed President - International.  In this role, Mr. Wilson will be responsible for overseeing EVO's existing European businesses, supporting expansion into new geographies and introducing EVO's North American capabilities to Europe.

Prior to joining EVO, Mr. Wilson was responsible for the UK's largest provider of card payments, having served as Managing Director of Streamline, a WorldPay company.  Prior to his role at WorldPay, Mr. Wilson served as President of Western Europe for Global Payments and CEO of Global Payments UK.  While at Global Payments, he led the company's UK and Spanish businesses, including a major IT platform migration strategy for the company's UK customer base.  Mr. Wilson's payments industry experience also includes 22 years at HSBC.
