Evolution Enrichment Center Opens Mandarin Explorers: Unique Program for ages 3-5 on Lower East Side
Steps away from Chinatown, Evolution Enrichment Center is offering a unique Mandarin Language and Cultural Exploration program for ages 3-5 starting July 5th.
NEW YORK, July 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Research studies have shown that this is the optimal age for children to learn a second language and there is no better time to do it than summer break! Evolution Enrichment Center will give your child a distinct advantage in an increasingly competitive, diverse, and global society. Students will explore Chinese language and culture through various dynamic age-appropriate activities, such as Chinese calligraphy, song and dance, theater, arts and crafts, storytelling, and even cooking. Children enhance their skills in a second language in the same way they learned their first language – through fun play and academic enrichment.
Head teacher, Ms. Anne Hsieh, a native Mandarin-speaker with decades of experience teaching language to young children, including leading the Mandarin program at Nest+M School, strongly believes there are numerous benefits of a language immersion program, including:

The Summer Day camp is split into 5 one-week sessions that meet from 3-6pm. Children can participate for one or two weeks and will receive special discounts for additional weeks or if they have siblings enrolled as well.
Mandarin Immersion Summer Day Camp is offered at Evolution Enrichment Center as part of a full-time multidisciplinary Signature Program for ages 2-5 from July 5th – September 2nd. Children will have the convenient option of attending Evolution Signature Program in the morning, then participating in the Mandarin summer program in the afternoon, if they wish to attend camp for a full-day schedule.
