EWI's benefits, policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics were first evaluated via an Employer Benefits and Policies Questionnaire. Then an Employee Engagement and Satisfaction Survey was distributed and 89% of EWI employees participated; a figure described as "remarkable" by the survey company. In the end, EWI's high overall score placed it in the Top 10 employers in the state in the Medium-sized Companies category (25-249 employees).
