
Exitround Forms Industry Council and Announces First Exit
Four Months After Launch Jacob Mullins Leaves Shasta Ventures as the World's Most Innovative Startups and Buyers Join the Marketplace
SAN FRANCISCO, July 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Exitround announced the formation of an Industry Council and its first exit. Co-founder Jacob Mullins, most recently of Shasta Ventures, has left to lead Exitround full time and is joined by Greg Dean, an engineering executive from Avira, a company he joined after his firm SocialShield was acquired in 2012.
The Industry Council, which is made up of some of the world's most respected entrepreneurs, corporate development professionals and investors, will help guide Exitround and provide educational resources that help startups and buyers navigate the acquisition process. They are:
