Experian Automotive launches AutoCheck Triggers(SM)

SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Feb. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Experian Automotive today announced the launch of AutoCheck Triggers^SM at the National Automotive Dealers Association (NADA) conference. As a trusted provider of vehicle history information, Experian Automotive designed the AutoCheck Triggers program to further empower automotive professionals by providing actionable insights, allowing them to maximize profits, reduce risk and increase their competitive advantage.

With AutoCheck Triggers, automotive professionals can track more than 20 different data elements, including changes in reported accidents, title brands, failed emissions, auction announcements or if the vehicle is eligible for the AutoCheck^® Buyback Protection program. They also can select the frequency of when they want to be alerted regarding changes: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or on their own timetable. Once notified of key changes, users then can take the appropriate action quickly and efficiently.

AutoCheck Triggers also is designed to specifically assist lenders and OEMs in increasing efficiencies. For lenders, AutoCheck Triggers can notify them of events such as accidents or brand changes that can impact the value of vehicles in their portfolios. For OEMs, the new service allows them to monitor the inventory across dealerships to determine how many vehicles could meet their CPO program requirements. Additionally, AutoCheck Triggers notifies OEMs and dealers of key changes that could disqualify a vehicle from becoming certified.
