Expo Build China 2013 - China's Leading Exhibition for Premium Building Materials

SHANGHAI, July 29, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- The 21st Expo Build China will take place in the spectacular Shanghai New International Expo Centre, one of the city's landmarks, from 1 - 3 April 2013.

Expo Build China is one of the largest building trade-shows held in China and showcases premium and innovative building materials and interior designs from mainland China and all over the world, with over 400 exhibitors and 60,000 visitors being brought together in Shanghai each spring. As the only premium comprehensive building trade-show in China, Expo Build China has built up its reputation through 20 years experience in the building industry and puts all building materials and the newest and most innovative products on display to showcase market trends, encourage the sharing of ideas, and to provide inspiration and connections for the industry.

Expo Build China integrates the building industry with hotel supplies, lighting fixtures, furniture, high-tech cleaning and water purification equipment, shop-fitting amenities and facilities and other related industries, in a 400,000 square metre venue, providing one-stop solutions to the building and hospitality industries. It is estimated that the show will attract over 100,000 global visitors consisting of industry professionals, traders, agents, designers, architects, hotel owners and real estate developers.

This year, 2013, the organisers of Expo Build China (Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co Ltd), with the cooperation of the Shanghai Interior Decoration Trade Association, have organised the Shanghai International Interior Design Festival 2013. A series of design forums, awards ceremonies and design trend releases will be held during the period of the Expo Build China trade-show from 1-3 April 2013 with the support of the Shanghai Municipal Government. The motivation is to create a new era of interior design in China and promote the development of the design industry in Shanghai.

In the meantime, global marketing initiatives will be carried out to cement Expo Build China's role as an internationally renowned show. UBM will use its global network to take Ecobuild to new Asian markets. A special showcasing area will be set-up alongside Expo Build China to focus on cutting-edge green building technologies and green building materials. At the same time a related conference, Ecobuild China Conference: International Environmental Architecture Management Forum, will be held, supported by the BRE (British Research Establishment) and the Shanghai Green Building Council.

Expo Build China 2012 had a successful 20th year with 418 exhibitors in a 54,000 sqm exhibition area, many of them revealing their remarkable artistic talent with the building materials and interiors in their displays. This is a trade-show that showcases new designs and innovative building materials for both hospitality and commercial construction.
