POTTSVILLE, Pa., Jan. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- EXTOL International, a leading provider of automated business integration software and services, today unveiled key figures from its 2011 performance, detailing another year of significant growth in both its overall revenue and customer and partner network.
Expanded industry interest and acceptance for its flagship EXTOL Business Integrator (EBI 2.5) automated integration solution enabled EXTOL to add new customers through its direct and partner sales channels, while providing additional services to existing clients. In addition to solid growth in software sales, the company increased its year-to-year services revenue by 40 percent, while also expanding its managed services revenue by 55 percent.
"With greater demand for cloud and outsourced services to eliminate the hassles of partner communication, more companies switched to EXTOL to reduce the rigors and resources needed for seamless integration," said Tony Baran, president and CEO of EXTOL. "These outstanding numbers reflect the hard work and commitment our entire organization put forth to provide top-rate solutions and service our customers can trust, and we are optimistic for continued growth in 2012."
Highlights from EXTOL's successful 2011 include:
- Notable Customer Expansion: EXTOL's continued enterprise expansion elevated its customer acquisition rate by 21 percent from the previous year. Among the new businesses turning to EXTOL for accelerated integration tools are The Boston Beer Company, a brewer of hand-crafted beers under the Samuel Adams brand; iRobot Corporation, a provider of robotic technologies for governmental and industrial projects; and Roadrunner Transportation Services, a leading non-asset based transportation and logistics services provider.
- Greater Partner Demand: EXTOL additionally experienced significant revenue by providing expanded services and capabilities for several prominent existing partners, including TMW Systems, Retalix and VAI.
- A Growing Global Reach: EXTOL reinforced its position as a leading global integration services provider by securing several new international customers, including Australian marketing and distribution company Metcash and Dublin, Ireland-based financial services company RR Donnelley.
- Market Recognition: EXTOL was named to Software Magazine's 29th annual Software 500 list in October, ranking the company among the world's largest software and service providers. Additionally, EXTOL's Secure Exchange 5.4 (ESX) encryption and authentication solution received AS2 Interoperable certification from the Drummond Group for the seventh consecutive year.
"The varying, industry-specific demands of our expanding partner network offered great insight into how we can improve our solutions to provide an even more efficient integration process," said Baran. "We anticipate our strategic and technological advancements will enable our customers to achieve their integration goals faster, at all stages of the integration lifecycle."
