ExtremeTix Announces Partnership with OurStage.com

HOUSTON, and CHELMSFORD, Mass., June 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ExtremeTix, a leader in ticketing technology and entertainment services, and OurStage.com, an online community of undiscovered artists, music lovers and industry professionals, today announced a strategic agreement in which ExtremeTix's entertainment group, Three Zebras Entertainment, will produce and promote a series of live concerts featuring OurStage bands.

The "OurStage Takes The Stage" concerts are the culmination of an online judging competition starting in June where rising artists get local performance slots on contemporary stages up and down the East Coast. Performing for cash prizes as well as promoted live gigs, bands will be judged by both online and live fans as well as industry professionals.

The live portion of the competition will take place on July 23 in Tampa, FL at the historic RITZ Ybor theater. The dates and locations of the future events have not yet been determined, but will be communicated on both extremetix.com and ourstage.com.
