SEATTLE, June 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- EY is pleased to announce the award recipients of the Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards in the Pacific Northwest. The below group of leading entrepreneurs were selected by an independent judging panel made up of previous award recipients, leading CEOs, investors and other regional business leaders. The award recipients were unveiled at a special gala on June 9, 2017, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Bellevue. Hosted by Northwest Regional Award Emmy Nominee and Q13 anchor Kaci Aitchison, the gala was attended by more than 500 of the Pacific Northwest's elite business leaders and entrepreneurs.

These entrepreneurs now join the ranks of 31 years of Entrepreneur Of The Year award recipients. As a group, the 2017 award recipients employ nearly 44,000 people and are a major source of economic stability, adding more than 6,900 jobs in the past year alone. They have an aggregate revenue of more than $8 billion, along with an outstanding year-over-year revenue growth rate of more than 40 percent.

Regional award recipients are now eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year National program. Award recipients in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year Overall National Award recipient, will be announced at the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 18, 2017. The awards are the culminating event of the EY Strategic Growth Forum™, the nation's most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading CEOs. The Entrepreneur Of The Year Overall Award recipient then moves on to compete for the World Entrepreneur Of The Year Award in Monaco in June 2018.
