Facility Logix Hires Biotech and Facility Project Management Expert, Opens North Carolina Office to Serve Current and Future Clients
BURTONSVILLE, Md., Dec. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Facility Logix, an owner's representative and management consulting firm for biotechnology and life sciences companies, announced today the hiring of biotechnology industry and project management expert Tim Howland as Project Manager. The firm also announced the opening of its new North Carolina office in Raleigh, North Carolina. Both moves are designed to support the firm's recent and continued growth. Howland will manage the North Carolina office and will be instrumental in serving the firm's existing and new clients in the state.

Prior to joining Facility Logix, Howland served as the Associate Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations for the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University's (Virginia Tech) development department. In this role, he was instrumental in forging relationships with key industry partners for the School's science and engineering departments. From 2005-2016, he served as the Associate Director for the University's College of Science. Prior to his time at Virginia Tech, Howland worked with Scheer Partners Biotech Services Group, where he served as a project manager on several life science facility projects. Before joining Scheer Partners, he was a researcher for both the Institute for Genomic Research and Celera Genomics.
