Fair Fund to Compensate Certain Investors in JPMorgan Chase & Co. Common Stock

WASHINGTON, May 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- RCB Fund Services LLC, the Plan Administrator for the JPMorgan Chase & Co. ("JPM") Non-Disclosure Fair Fund (the "JPM Fund"), is announcing the opening of the claims process for the JPM Fund.  The JPM Fund was established by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC").  It will distribute $200 million in civil money penalties recovered from JPM through an SEC enforcement action to JPM investors harmed by the firm's failure to disclose the true amount of trading losses it suffered during the first quarter of 2012, as well as its failure to describe accurately the effectiveness of its disclosure controls and procedures.  Pursuant to the Plan of Distribution (the "Plan") approved by the SEC on February 4, 2015, the JPM Fund will compensate investors who suffered harm as a result of purchasing JPM common stock through a U.S. securities exchange between April 13, 2012 and May 20, 2012 and who satisfy the conditions of the Plan.  The Plan contains a description of all eligibility and other conditions to participation and can be found at: www.jpmsecfund.com or www.sec.gov

Who is Eligible to Participate in the Fair Fund?
Any person or entity that purchased JPM common stock on a U.S. exchange during the period from April 13, 2012 through May 20, 2012, is eligible for compensation from the JPM Fund subject to certain other eligibility limitations described in the Plan.  The amount of compensation will vary based on the exact dates of transactions in JPM common stock during the relevant period, the number of shares of JPM common stock purchased and/or sold,  and the total dollar value of eligible claims submitted to the JPM Fund.
