Fairway Market Sponsors Rocky Horror Show Live Concert

MONTCLAIR, N.J., Oct. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The School of Rock Montclair will perform music from the classic film The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Unitarian Church of Montclair on Halloween, October 31, 2012 from 7 pm to 9 pm. Sponsored by Fairway Market, the live concert will benefit Toni's Kitchen, a food ministry that serves low-income residents in the area.

In addition, Fairway Market will hold a shopping night on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in its Woodland Park store from 4 pm to 10 pm, in which 25 percent of proceeds of registered shoppers also will go to Toni's Kitchen.

"The Rocky Horror Show is timeless, and the performance by School of Rock of the movie music is a fabulous way to get into the Halloween spirit while helping needy families at the same time," said Herb Ruetsch, CEO of Fairway Market. School of Rock Montclair is an afterschool music program for kids ages 7 to 17. This first-of-its-kind event for the school and for the Unitarian Church will feature the School's House Band performing favorite songs from the movie   including the dance classic "Time Warp." The 1975 film is the longest-running theatrical release in cinema history.
