Falkn Solutions Awarded $1.9M Navy Phase II Contract to Advance Air-Gapped Data Harmonization for Combat Systems
Navy PEO IWS 1.0 selects Falkn's Kestrl platform to eliminate operational data silos and accelerate actionable insights for the AEGIS Combat System in air-gapped environments.
AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Falkn Solutions, a dual-use software company building solutions for high-consequence environments, announced today that it has been awarded a $1.9 million Phase II contract (Topic 25A-T007) by Navy Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS 1.0). Building on successful Phase I research validation, this Phase II award accelerates the prototype development and deployment of Falkn's flagship product, Kestrl, within the AEGIS Combat System ecosystem.
Disconnected databases and isolated information sources create "data islands," forcing manual synchronization and slowing critical decision-making. Kestrl solves this challenge by serving as an event-driven data harmonization platform capable of ingesting SQL, NoSQL, files, and handwritten notes to deliver a single, consistent source of truth. Utilizing local Large Language Models (LLMs), Kestrl operates without reliance on public clouds, making it uniquely suited for deployment in low or contested bandwidth environments, private clouds, or on the tactical edge.

Under Phase II execution, Falkn will deliver containerized software targeted at increasing the speed of data insights and improving overall combat system readiness.
