Limited time summer menu heats up while an expanded drink menu helps guests cool down

BOSTON, June 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Just in time for summer, Uno Pizzeria & Grill is introducing a limited time menu featuring flavorful seasonal favorites like lobster, wings, steak and strawberry shortcake.
The new summer-inspired menu features a classic New England lobster roll, lobster sliders, lobster and shrimp scampi, and a unique New Fisherman's Platter, which includes Yuengling battered fried shrimp, deep-fried fish and a lobster slider. The lobster roll, lobster sliders and New Fisherman's Platter all come with fries and a side of Uno's own coleslaw creation: powerslaw made with goji berries, raisins and nuts. For a twist on an Uno's favorite, Uno's created Fireball Whisky BBQ Sauce, which is available on the Brewmaster's Grill NY Strip and Uno's juicy and delicious chicken wings. And save room for dessert! Uno's is featuring a summer favorite: Strawberry Shortcake with scrumptious layers of macerated fresh sliced strawberries with whipped cream and sweet vanilla cake.
"Summer is a time for people to slow down, enjoy themselves and appreciate the flavors of the season. To complement the food menu, Uno's developed two new fresh brewed iced tea cocktails just for summer – the Angry Orange Tea with Stoli Ohranj, Blue Moon, and Angry Orchard Cider and the Tropical Red Sun Tea with Stoli Razberi, pineapple juice and lemon juice. Both are served in mason jars for that true summer feel.
The limited time summer menu runs now through Labor Day at participating locations.
