Family Recovery Weekend to Take Place at Sedona Mago Retreat
SEDONA, Ariz., Feb. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sedona Mago Retreat will hold a Family Recovery Weekend, for those who are dealing with addiction within their family circle.
In the U.S. there are more than 18 million people with a drinking or drug problem, and only 10 percent of them will ever get help. But every individual with a drinking problem disrupts the lives of at least four other people—the child who loses a parent due to a drunken driving accident, careers that are ruined, marriages and families that are destroyed by addiction . This weekend is designed to inform and invigorate relationships and is for family members just coming to grips with the dynamic addiction causes in a family and is also or those who have been working with these principles for years.
People who are experiencing pain in their relationships with addicts and alcoholics that have yet to find recovery are invited to disengage from the busy world and get a new perspective of how alcoholism/ addiction is impacting them.
