Family summer fun: Vote for your favorite Rice Krispies® Treat recipe with us!

When we ask consumers why they make Rice Krispies Treats™, the most common answer they give us?

They're easy to make.

If you're a parent, you've probably had the idea to make cookies or a cake with your kids. It can be a fun way to bond – but it can also be difficult… and become unfun. You need exact measurements of ingredients. You're working with raw eggs. Things can get messy quickly.

Rice Krispies Treats™, on the other hand, require very few ingredients – and you can eat them while you make them!

Rice Krispies® is all about family togetherness. Making Rice Krispies Treats™ is a perfect summer activity, especially because each member of the family can get creative with their own unique Treat. Want to decorate with sprinkles? Go ahead!

That's why we thought it would be fun to ask consumers to vote for their favorite Rice Krispies Treats™ recipes with us. The poll is posted here and we're asking for votes by July 31.

Votes between June 24, 2022 - July 31, 2022 can generate a $10 donation from Kellogg to No Kid Hungry. Minimum donation $100,000. Maximum donation $430,000**.

No Kid Hungry is the only national campaign committed to ending childhood hunger in the U.S. They are a long-time partner in helping Kellogg create better days for 3 billion people by the end of 2030, in part by helping feed those who are facing food insecurity.

This is a win-win, because as many as 13 million children wake up not knowing if they'll have food on the table that day.  There also aren't as many enriching activities for kids, so making a favorite Rice Krispies Treat™ recipe is a fun idea for families to come together.

We've seen a lot of votes coming in so far with a tight rice for the top recipes (my personal favorite is S'mores).
