Fans Prep for NFL Season at Smokey Bones

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- NFL players aren't the only ones getting ready for the kickoff of the NFL season.  Fans are also conditioning to get into game-day shape.  But instead of sprints and scrimmages, fans are perfecting their tailgating skills by lifting glasses and filling plates.  And to help fans get into shape, Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill is hosting a Tailgate Kickoff Party on Sunday, August 25th from 1 - 4 p.m. at all of its locations across the country. 

Co-hosting the tailgate parties will be some of the NFL's legendary names – like Pro Football Hall of Famers Anthony Muñoz, of the Cincinnati Bengals, and Dwight Stephenson, of the Miami Dolphins, three-time Browns Pro Bowl cornerback Hanford Dixon, Steelers wide receiver Louis Lipps, two-time All-Pro Steelers lineman Jeff Hartings, Redskins Ring of Fame inductee Brian Mitchell, and two-time Jets Pro Bowl player Wesley Walker.  These NFL stars of yesteryear will be attending Smokey Bones tailgate parties throughout the country, along with team cheerleaders from the Patriots, Bills, Buccaneers, Dolphins, Falcons, Bengals, Colts, Rams and Jets.

Like all good tailgate parties, there will be plenty of cold beer and grilled food – with free samples of both offered to true fans.  Attendees can also purchase a $5 season-long savings book with more than $100 in discounts to redeem at the restaurants throughout the fall.  Plus, there will be giveaway prizes and raffles for team jerseys.
