DALLAS, Oct. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Entertainment and sports industry innovator Fanwish scored big today, announcing the newest addition to their A-team -- Chief Product & Marketing Officer Ryan Farley.
The recently launched Dallas-based company has revolutionized the sports entertainment industry. Using technology, Fanwish has created the first-ever, free mobile application to bring fans and their favorite sports teams, players, artists, and idols closer than ever. Partnering with entertainment powerhouses, Fanwish brings dreams to life and makes the most awe-inspiring dreams for fans across sports, music, and entertainment globally come true.
Fanwish investor and Dallas Cowboy Tony Romo stated at the launch event, "It's about the ability to connect with people. I was that kid once too... looking up to the Green Bay Packers… the Wisconsin Badgers, and it warms my heart knowing that we now have the ability to connect with multiple people on many different levels. The more times Fanwish can do that, the better."
Farley brings 17 years of experience launching digital innovations, including 13 years of product and marketing expertise with household name, Intuit. There, Farley was most recognized for delivering delight to customers, being a two-time recipient of Intuit's elite Scott Cook Innovation award. As leader of Product Management and Design, Farley led the launch of hundreds of new products, including TurboTax Personal Pro, oversaw global product launches across three continents, and developed numerous mobile apps resulting in 5-star app ratings.
In his most recent role as VP of Product Management, Design, and Marketing at RealPage, Inc., Farley built a world-class product, design, and marketing team from the ground up and was responsible for launching six successful breakthrough innovations.
"Having Ryan spearhead product and marketing is a testament to our commitment to developing a best-in-class product, providing an unmatchable user experience, and doing more good in the world by bringing even more fanwishes to life. I'm thrilled to have him on board. With his tenured experience and invaluable knowledge of product development, expansion, and marketing, we'll be able to offer these exclusive experiences to fans worldwide," said Fanwish Founder and CEO Rob Wechsler.
When asked "Why Fanwish?" Farley stated, "Fanwish is one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities that I couldn't pass up. In addition to joining a group of leaders with a long track record of innovation and success, I get the chance to work for a company that makes people's wishes come true and intersects with another passion of mine -- sports and entertainment. It doesn't get better than that."
