LOS ANGELES, July 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Farmers Insurance and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library have partnered to develop the Presidential Leadership Program (PLP). PLP is a leadership development course built on the concept of emotional intelligence and designed to create a new kind of leader: one who guides with an open mind instead of an iron fist.
"We believe we can learn a lot about leadership from the 44 Americans who have held the office of President of the United States, and have incorporated their exceptional leadership skills into a three-day classroom course, conducted at the Reagan Library," notes Bryan Murphy, Farmers Executive Vice President and Chief Claims Officer. "In this fast-paced world, filled with technology, leadership will be key in management of all corporate and non-profit organizations. PLP is designed for America's future."
