The wine is crafted from select vineyard blocks from the southern section within the Nathan Coombs Estate in the Coombsville AVA, a region prized for its volcanic soils, cooler climate, and capacity to produce Cabernet Sauvignons with structure, freshness, and elegance. Paul brings his decades of experience, including the creation of the first 100-point Coombsville Cabernet, while Agustina lends her bold creativity, resulting in a balanced expression shaped by sustainable vineyard practices and minimalist cellar techniques that honors the purity and character of the fruit.

Agustina's winemaking journey began early—helping bottle wines at the family winery at just 15 years old—and grew through formal study in viticulture and enology at Cornell University. She has hands-on experience in both winemaking and working in international markets, including harvests in Argentina and France and business roles in Hong Kong and Japan. Her global perspective, technical training, and creative drive now come together in ALH, a label that speaks to a new era of excellence in Napa Valley.
