"I am deeply honored to receive this award and proud of our longstanding relationship with the FDNY," commented Mr. Franklin. "Through our First Alert brand of fire and home safety products, we have worked together with the FDNY, establishing programs to help educate and raise public awareness of home fire prevention and safety, including the donation of over 75,000 First Alert carbon monoxide and smoke detectors. Jarden and First Alert continue to work closely with the FDNY to protect what matters most. We thank and salute the brave members of the FDNY."
