FDNY Selects Intergraph®'s Public Safety Solutions for Dispatching, Mobile and Analytics

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Feb. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) has selected Intergraph^® to update its incident response technologies. Intergraph's computer-aided dispatch solution, I/CAD, and Mobile for Public Safety (MPS) will provide the foundation for dispatch and emergency operations for fire and emergency medical service (EMS) throughout New York City.

FDNY will also implement Intergraph's I/NetViewer and I/NetDispatcher to enable web-based communications between dispatchers and personnel in the field. The department also purchased Intergraph's Business Intelligence for data reporting and analysis and EdgeFrontier^® to simplify the development of interfaces between IT systems through the technology implementation process.
