AFP's Seventh Annual Global Corporate Treasurers Forum Asks Executives "What's Next?"

CHICAGO, April 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Charles Evans, head of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and Dr. Raghuram Rajan, finance professor at the University of Chicago, will provide views on the current outlook for growth in the U.S. economy and around the world at the Global Corporate Treasurers Forum, May 19 in Chicago. An audience of senior-level corporate finance executives with titles such as CFO and treasurer will hear these perspectives in context of a forum-style event that asks executives to consider the next phase of global business.

"A Macroeconomic Outlook: Where Might We Be Headed?" – Outlook for the global economy focusing on four key issues: U.S. debt, European sovereign debt crisis, inflation and commodity prices, and the impact of China.
SPEAKER: Dr. Raghuram Rajan is Professor of Finance at University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and is the former chief economist of the IMF, longtime economic advisor to the Prime Minister of India, and author of the book "Fault Lines," which was named the best financial book of 2010 by the Financial Times.
"A Perspective on the Current Economy" – President Evans will present his outlook for growth in the U.S. economy, including a discussion of the progress being made in the recovery, inflation and the course of monetary policy.
SPEAKER: Charles L. Evans is the ninth president and chief executive of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. In that capacity, he serves on the Federal Open Market Committee, the Federal Reserve System's monetary policy-making body.
