MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio, Dec. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Fidato Wealth, a wealth management firm in Middleburg Heights, announced their involvement with Shoes and Clothes for Kids (SC4K), joining with clients and friends to collect shoes, clothes and school supplies for children in the Cleveland area this holiday season.

Needed items include coloring and drawing supplies, art supplies, socks, hats and gloves, backpacks, pocket folders, and wide rule notebooks. New and unwrapped items will be accepted through Friday, December 21st from 9am-5pm at Fidato Wealth: 7530 Lucerne Drive, Suite 400 in Middleburg Heights.

SHOES AND CLOTHES FOR KIDS 50TH ANNIVERSARY PROGRAM GROWTH FUND
To celebrate 50 years of serving Cleveland's families in need, SC4K is committed to doubling their impact and raising an additional $1 million during their 50th anniversary year. "Raising an extra $1 million is our largest fundraising goal ever, but we believe it is attainable because the community cares. We invite community members to join us in honoring the work of our founder, Morrie Sayre, who saw a need and took action. With support from philanthropic friends in the Cleveland area, that small step was nurtured into an organization that now serves thousands of children each year, but could do so much more," said Uhl. "SC4K has positively impacted the lives of area children by giving them the pride and confidence that comes from having new shoes, school uniforms, clothes and school supplies. Through our programs we help improve school attendance, in some cases up to 24%."
"Our current budget for expanded programming allows us to serve nearly 7,000 students per year. With the $1 million raised, SC4K will provide an additional $200,000 per year from 2020 to 2025 which has been designated by our Board of Directors to be used solely for program needs," said Uhl.
