Fifth Annual Kiehl's LifeRide For amfAR Cruises In Style With Harley-Davidson® Authorized Rentals

MILWAUKEE, July 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Harley-Davidson Authorized Rentals, the world's largest motorcycle rentals provider, is joining with world renowned skincare company Kiehl's Since 1851 as the exclusive motorcycle partner and Gold Sponsor of the fifth annual Kiehl's LifeRide for amfAR. The iconic motorcycle company will rev up the 11-day multi-stop charity ride taking place Aug. 2 through Aug. 12, 2014, from Harley-Davidson's home town of Milwaukee to New York City in support of amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research.

Inspired by Kiehl's history with motorcycles and its philanthropic heritage, the ride will be led by Chris Salgardo, President, Kiehl's USA and Kevin Robert Frost, amfAR CEO, riding with fellow motorcycle enthusiasts eager to join the fight against HIV/AIDS. This year's riders include:

Launching from the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, Kiehl's LifeRide for amfAR will celebrate with the public at six retail stores and one Harley-Davidson dealership, Lake Erie Harley-Davidson in Avon, Ohio, along the route. At each stop, the public will be invited to meet the riders, learn more about amfAR and contribute to the organization. Over the course of the ride, Kiehl's will donate $150,000 in donations to amfAR.

Kiehl's is the official skincare product of Harley-Davidson. In the spirit of adventure, the two companies have teamed up to provide co-branded kits of "must-haves" for everyday riders to keep their skin healthy and protected on short or long rides. An easy-to-pack "Essential Starter" kit features Facial Fuel No-Shine Moisturizing Lip Balm, Facial Fuel Energizing Facial Wash, Facial Fuel Moisturizer SPF 15 and Cross Terrain All-in-One Refueling Wash. The "Ultimate Refueling Set" includes larger sizes of everything in the Essential Starter kit as well as White Eagle Shave Cream and Ultimate Strength Hand Salve.  Both kits will be available for sale exclusively at Harley-Davidson participating dealerships around the world beginning this fall.
