FIG Team of Adamiyatt, Dykeman and Greco Join Sagent Advisors

NEW YORK, May 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sagent Advisors Inc. announced today it has expanded its franchise with the launch of a Financial Institutions Group.  The group will be led by three Managing Directors -- Simon K. Adamiyatt, Steven Dykeman and Francis Greco -- who have worked together for over fifteen years and will be based in New York.  The group is complemented by recent Sagent addition, Matthew Epstein, who leads the firm's financial technology sector.

Mr. Adamiyatt's investment banking career has been marked by senior positions at several firms.  He has been the Co-Head of FIG M&A at Lehman Brothers, Head of FIG in the Americans at UBS, Head of FIG at Bear Stearns and Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at Cowen and Company.  He has over 20 years of experience providing strategic financial advice to domestic and international financial institutions and government enterprises.  During his career he has executed business combinations, divestitures, restructurings, principal investments and capital raisings of approximately $250 billion in transaction value.

Mr. Dykeman possesses 20+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, strategic planning and corporate taxation.  He joins Sagent from Industry Capital, a private equity firm in San Francisco, where he served as Partner. He also has held senior positions in the financial institutions groups at Lehman Brothers, UBS and Bear Stearns.  

Mr. Greco has over 15 years of experience providing financial and strategic advice to clients within the financial services, focusing primary on commercial banks and specialty finance companies.  During his career, he has been a member of the financial institutions practices at Lehman Brothers, UBS and Credit Suisse.
